Here is me having some fun on the Wii with Wii Sports. Here is my Back to the Future related Mii, “Doc”Brown hitting hits in the Batting Practice portion of Wii Sports. Here he goes 30 for 30 in hits and winds up getting a Platinum medal for his efforts. This is one of the harder feats to pull of in Wii Sports Training mode. The pitches get faster and harder as you close in on the last 10 or so so a lot of luck and timing is key to doing this. Also as you will notice the crowd will get very loud as you near the end adding another distraction. Its the only one where there is background noise in the tasks in Training Mode. This took me awhile to do it but this was the second time I did it on my Wii so once you get the hang of it it’s not too bad actually. So for those who having trouble.. here it is. Doc is not just a scientist but a great athlete as well. Who knew? Enjoy!! Comments and feedback welcome and encouraged. Be sure to check out the MartyMcFly Wii related video I did of him going 10 for 10 in HR’s too located at: www.youtube.com
On 4/23/2011, Dice-K pitched a gem in a 5-0 victory over the Angels at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. He gave up one hit (an infield hit that Dice-K deflected and was inches away from not being one) over 8 innings with 3 walks and 9 strikeouts on 115 pitches The group of David Ortiz, Kevin Youkilis, Adrian Gonzalez and Carl Crawford took batting practice before the game. Each of the four had a hit that night, with Youk belting a 2-run home run in the 5th and Crawford going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
This is a compilation from my first outing in a couple of weeks. I still have a long way to go and it wasn’t my best outing but it’s progress nonetheless. The first music track is a rendition of “The Ecstasy of Gold” by Metallica. The second music track is “Extraction Point” from the Modern Warfare 2 Soundtrack and is composed by Hans Zimmer. I don’t own the rights to the songs, just appreciate the music. Thanks for watching.
